Hikari no Ou S01

The story of Fire Hunters takes place after the last human war. The world is surrounded by a black forest, and humans are afflicted by a pathogen that causes them to combust when they approach natural fire. Hunting the black beasts known as Flame Spirits that live in the depths of this dark forest is the only secure way to utilize fire. Recently, a rumor has begun to circulate among the Fire Hunters about the existence of the Fire Hunter King, who is said to be able to extract the elements of the artificial star that was once a thousand-year-old wandering meteorite. The story follows Toku, a rural girl, and Kushi, a former student in the capital. The encounter between the two, which was never meant to be, changes the fate of the world.
